The old saying “it takes a village to raise a child” may seem a little old fashioned with all of our modern parenting conveniences, but it still rings true today. Though your baby is primarily raised in your home, his or her life will be influenced by your friends, family, and neighbors.
Think about all of the people in your life that you interact with on a regular basis. They are your “village,” an extended family of your choosing. This article from She Knows describes a few ways to create and nurture a positive community for your child to grow up in.
