When other moms find out you’re pregnant, it’s like a little switch flips in their brain and they have to tell you everything they know on the subject to prepare you for the journey ahead. While you can never truly prepare, there are a few things you’re bound to experience that other mothers know quite well.
For one, your belly will still look pregnant after your baby is born. It takes a while for things to settle, and you’ll likely have retained a lot of water as well. Sweating will be your new normal (though for some women, that’s normal all through pregnancy!). Your lady parts will also be very sensitive for a while, and you’ll never forget your first post-partum poop (it’s kind of scary).
