A baby is never happier than when they perfect the art of movement. Not even walking, but being able to get themselves across the room, closer to that toy or that pet or you, needing it enough to get it themselves… it’s not only the most damn adorable thing you’ll ever see, it’s the best day of their lives so far. So why not make it more fun for your little one and make them give it their all?
You could get on the floor with them and play with them, or create an obstacle course for them to explore. Be as excited as you possibly can, all smiles and cheers and fun. Your baby will hear how happy you are, and just be ecstatic. Give them a goal at the end of the line, something they really want. Maybe a toy, maybe even a sibling if possible.
Its days like these that you’ll remember for the rest of your life. Just them, excited as possible, doing whatever they can just to get somewhere, laughing the whole way.
