Every day, parents have to worry about getting their children up, off the couch, and actually doing something. Some incentive is always recommended, and sometimes it can just be where they’re playing.
Massachusetts contractor Jay Hewitt has constructed a three story tall treehouse for his grandchildren, and it’s more impressive than every apartment I ever lived in during college. Hewitt told reporters for the local newspaper The Sun Chronicle that “I had a treehouse when I was a kid, but it was basically a four-by-eight sheet of plywood. I never dreamed a treehouse would be anything like this.
The treehouse features, and all of this is true, a hand crafted stairwell, slide, trampoline, little basketball hoop, two balconies, a deck, electricity, and the fact that’s built around FOUR Oak trees. And he did it all in a year and a half. Because making the most impressive house I’ve seen in ages wasn’t enough, he had to make us all feel incredibly lazy on top of that.
