5 Tips for Dealing with Daylight Savings

November 1st is the end of daylight savings time, which means it’s time for the clocks to change. And when you’re a parent who already barely gets any sleep already, ON TOP of having to introduce your children to changing sleep schedules, it can be a difficult time. But here are some tricks for getting through that tricky period.

You have to KNOW WHAT KIND OF CHILD you have. Do they have difficulties sleeping, or are they okay with missing a nap. You have to be deliberate, STEADY AND SLOW with your actions. Babies need to slowly be integrated with these changes. Make sure to be CONSISTENT with those actions. Being all over the map will throw you and your baby off. So make sure you ADJUST at a good pace, and not just when you put them to sleep. You can always just adjust what kind of shades or glasses you use. The biggest thing to remember is to LIVE LIFE.
