Six months ago, a German bus driver had to endure one of the great dangers of having to watch children; one of them got a laser pointer.
The boy kept playing with the toy, constantly reflecting the laser off mirrors and into the driver’s eyes. Nothing came of it, until six months later when the driver went to the doctor with bad vision and learnt that the laser had permanently damaged his eye sight. In response, the FDA has put out a new warning for toys that use them.
