Helping by Not Helping

When you’re children come home, they usually show up with some amount of homework to do. And inevitably, they’re going to come at you with it and now all of a sudden you have to remember how long division works.

But Lisa Rabasca Roepe, a writer with sheknows, has begun not correcting her daughter’s homework. Recent studies have proven that helping your children on their work can even damage a child’s academic progress. As such, Roepe hasn’t told her daughter about her homework’s mistakes.
