One of the things most kids have to do, at least once, is sit on Santa’s lap. But this San Antonio family had the worst possible outcome hit.
The Self family, already with four children who have gotten pictures with St. Nick, went to get a picture with their newest son, Caleb. Caleb is 14-months old, and suffers from mitochondrial encephalomyopathy, a genetic disorder. But the Santa they’ve always seen wouldn’t even hold him at first.
Because sometimes, the wrong person is Santa.
