When you’re pregnant, it invites a series of tests into your life. Sometimes, they can be invasive in ways you really don’t expect, and sometimes they are very much a big thing. But at least one test has become easier.
It’s being reported that a new variant of a classic blood test can accurately predict whether a child has Down’s Syndrome is being developed. Though the procedure still comes with risk AND is still under trial runs, it’ll be interesting to see whether this test becomes the new norm.
