Alright, safety is a major concern when it comes to our children. But there are a limits, and this is part of that limit. Because when you walk your children to school, you really shouldn’t have to worry about being arrested.
The Bear Branch Elementary School in Magnolia Texas has made the national news, with a new school policy – any and all parents who walk on school grounds uninvited are considered to be trespassing, which could lead to parents finding themselves arrested. The county sheriffs have already vowed to enforce the ruling, and have already threatened some parents being with the promise of an arrest if they come back.
A parent arriving at school to pick up their children is not a risk. And while the outside possibility does exist that something terrible could happen, this is just too far, and some parents just aren’t taking it. Claire Gillespie with sheknows has the full story, right here. Check it out.
