The Honest Company, a brand known for selling organic baby products, has recalled its natural baby powder due to concerns that the powder was contaminated and causing eye and skin infections. The Honest Company has gotten into hot water before, with social media complaints that their sunscreen is ineffective and a (now dismissed, but still contentious) lawsuit claiming that their organic baby formula actually contains synthetic ingredients. Despite its missteps, The Honest Company earned one of its co-founders, Jessica Alba, a place on Forbes’ wealthiest self-made women list in 2015.
