The Etiquette of “Please Go Away”

In a day and age where more and more jobs are in customer service and sales fields, one still has to beware the solicitor. They come in all formats from fundraisers, religious folks inviting one to worship services, sales people, the list seems never ending. And while one wants to get along with the neighbors, one still has things to do, so it is not rude to put a simple no solicitation sign, it can even be hand written, in the window. This will let people know that whatever the circumstances, you simply aren’t interested.
