Britax’s ClickTight car seats are the current gold standard for belt affixed car seats. With their intuitive and satisfying click system, Britax allows for peace of mind when fastening the seat into the car with a belt. However, at such a high price range ($240-$400), they are out of many folk’s budgets. As such, Graco, a well known car seat manufacturer, has introduced a similar system called SnugLock retailing for $199. It allows for a different, but similarly satisfying locking mechanism for a fraction of the cost. Hopefully more like-designed seats will appear in the market in the near future.
