During summer break, there are several ways to keep children entertained without spending a ton of money! There are several bowling centers nationwide that allow children to bowl free during the summer. Shoe rental may be a separate cost. Regal Cinemas has a great deal during the summer with their $1 movie days for children! Check your local theater to see if they have the Summer Movie Express program available. Some skating rinks offer a program for children to skate for free. If your local rink doesn’t offer this option, you can print off information for them to get involved in the program. There are several museums that offer free or reduced admission for children. This is a great way to spend the day and learn a little. Most libraries tend to host programs for children. Check with your local library to see what they offer for children. Finally, there is always the option to play outside.
