Halloween is supposed to be Scary, not Traumatizing.

Halloween is a fine time for a scary movie, but that’s because it’s just a movie. There’s a level of separation between the television screen and real life. But sometimes, people can get a little out of hand.

Vicki Barrett for example, a mother from Parma, Ohio. She recently found herself in the middle of a public kerfuffle after her Stephen King inspired Halloween decorations became noticed on the internet. She took down the decoration after waking up in the middle of the night and seeing a group of strangers outside, looking at the decoration. Which is terrifying.
