Alabama mother Ashton Hummer was on Facebook one morning, when something plain despicable happened.
Some of the pictures she had posted of her 16-month old daughter Lennox had ended up reedited and captioned into an internet meme. And not one of the playful, handsome runner ones. No, these were very hurtful messages. I’m not typing them here, because I really would prefer to not even type that stuff. And the worst part? It’s not against the law. There’s nothing to be done, and people will continue to be able to use her pictures like that. Ashton is quoted as saying, “I cried. That’s all I could do. I was very upset about it, I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”
