Last Christmas

Sometimes, bad things happen to good people for no reason. Take Evan Leversage, a seven year old boy in St. George. He was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, and he’s battled the disease for his whole life. But unfortunately, doctors spoke with his mother last month, and it seems that Evan doesn’t have much time left.

Working with his mother, Evan made a bucket list and has been going about completing it all. But the last thing – celebrate Christmas one more time – might be a bit difficult. His doctors aren’t sure he’ll last until December 25th. But Nicole Leversage wasn’t going to let anything stop her son from having one more Christmas.

Nicole went and spoke to everyone in town, and suddenly, it started to feel a lot like Christmas in St. George. Everyone came out, and on October 19th, there was a Christmas parade, a feast was served at a local country club, and Santa Claus showed up.

Merry Christmas Evan, and hope you have a wonderful new year.
