As I’m sure every parents who’s reading this can attest, it can be difficult to say no to your children. Especially if they know what buttons to press.
Maybe they shed a single tear, maybe they suck up, but if there’s something they want, it’s easy for a sense of guilt to set in. But it’s vital to remember that some guilt is good (if you’ve earned it), but that you can and should always be able and willing to ignore the worthless guilt. You are not a bad Mom for standing your ground. It just means you’re a Mom.
