Gwyneth Paltrow is a wonderful actress, but she’s also a mother, and that means coping with the kind of issues that brings to the forefront. Lately? It stems from her daughter, Apple, and how she sees herself.
According to Paltrow, the eleven year old girl is getting more and more into makeup as she gets older, and Paltrow isn’t quite sure how to react. During an interview with Yahoo! Beauty, she said, “I just hope that my daughter always feels beautiful. And I think that absolutely comes from the way you regard yourself and hold yourself. I think there’s [sic] so many women who might not be classically beautiful but who just are so beautiful—they’re so alluring because you can just tell they’re so into themselves, you know, in a good way. So I hope she has that quality.”
It’s an important message, and it’s a good thing Paltrow is taking it to heart. So long as you feel confident in how you look, it doesn’t matter what anyone else says or thinks.
