It really does seem like every other week, I’m having to talk about a brand new item being recalled, and guys… even if it’s just one child somewhere being put in danger because of these unhealthy foods? That’s one too many. So, here’s the latest recall info.
It’s for a brand of Gerber Organic baby food. A packaging defect has been found by the FDA in two of the batches of their Organic 2ND FOOD pouches, and if the defect happens, then the product could spoil during travel and handling.
This is a serious concern for any parent who was using the pouches on the go (and having that mobility is a probably a big reason they wanted it in the first place), and it needs to be considered, now. Gerber president and CEO Gary Tickle said, “We are proactively working to retrieve all remaining pouches of the affected batches that fail to meet our quality standards.”
