Why it’s Great to Sing Little Lullabies to your Kids

It’s always been adorable to sing lullabies to your baby, but a new study has shown the benefits for toddlers when you sing.

Colwyn Trevarthen, a professor emeritus of child psychology at the University of Edinburgh,  has found that babies are naturally attuned to music. Because of this, a nice melody from their mother literally helps soothe children.

So next time you want to sing a soft song to your infant, just know that it really is helping.
