The Zika Virus has proven dangerous to children and pregnant women primarily, which is heartbreaking when you consider just how many mothers-to-be seem to have the disease. Because the numbers have been going up.
A recent finding by the CDC has concluded that two hundred and thirty four women who carrying children have contracted the disease. And what makes it scarier (somehow) is the fact that up to 80% of women who carry the disease won’t know until their ultrasound.
That’s a horrible statistic, and breaks my heart, and we wish them the best of luck with their families.
