Last week, the American Academy of Pediatrics released a new statement on media use by children more commonly known as recommendations about the all dreaded-but-dear-God-necessary screen time. I was pretty jazzed about the update because it seemed to clarify the use of screens, and media, along with the varied ways modern parents myself included use screens with our kiddos. Be aware and cognizant of how often, what, and when our child engages with screens and media Always engage with him and the screen, to prevent using it as a babysitter.
