A new analysis of 17 studies from around the world found that children and teens who had mobile devices in their rooms at night even if they did use them were significantly more likely to sleep poorly and feel tired the next day than kids without access to mobile devices while they slept. Children who used mobile devices before bedtime were also much more likely not to get enough sleep than kids whose bedtimes were device-free, according to results published in JAMA Pediatrics.
