There is a mom who is at the tipping point in her life. There is so much stress that goes into being a mom and there are no breaks and no timeout button to push. It can be a very hard thing, but anyone can get through it by changing the way they approach the issues in their life. Doing yoga and having a trip out with friends are two ways to escape being a mom.
Key Takeaways:
- Getting sympathy from your 5-year-old is probably not where any mom wants to be, but these days, as I have pretty much dropped off the face of the earth except for work and sleep, I will take what I can get.
- Do as much yoga as I can possibly squeeze in, which is unfortunately not much, and start the Whole 30 diet just because I need another something to add to my to-do-list.
- Not to say that there aren’t some dads that do all of the above and more, of course, but just speaking hypothetically.
““Mommy, how was your day? Busy with work and kids?” asks Lila as we snuggle together before she goes to sleep.Getting sympathy from your 5-year-old is probably not where any mom wants to be, but these days, as I have pretty much dropped off the face of the earth except for work and sleep, I will take what I can get!”
