Reading is one of the fundamental strengths of modern society. Consider how much reading you do on a daily basis just with your phone and e-mails. It’s important to install a love of reading early, and the easiest way to do that is to grab some great early books for your children.
But which books are the best new ones? There’s something to be said for the classics, but there must be some interesting new books that you could show the children.
Luckily, this is why people like Mrs. Pizza with Hellobee exist. She’s filled her library bag with some recent highlights, and some of these are just plain delightful.
Seriously! The Sleepy Songbird is adorable, Hedgehugs is even cuter than you think it’s going to be, and Too Many Toys manages to have a good point on top of it’s lovely and simple art style.
